Research Services
I am available as a contractor/consultant to help research projects become publication-ready by completing unfinished analyses and/or writing and ensuring work is relevant, impactful, and tailored to its audience.
I am well-positioned to lead or assist with: (1) quantitative and qualitative data analysis and coding, (2) scientific writing and research translation, (3) grant-writing, (4) data visualization and storytelling, (5) public-facing dissemination products, and (6) media, art and/or advocacy collaborations.
My Google Scholar profile highlights my prior publications, many of which appear in highly ranked journals such as American Journal of Public Health, JAMA Pediatrics, the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and Science Advances. I have experience working with electronic health records data, claims, vital statistics, and numerous national health surveys. My past work has also included commentaries and opinion piecesinvestigative journalism collaborations, and data-driven art advocacy projects
I completed an MPH at Boston University School of Public Health in 2019, with a concentration in the design and conduct of quantitative and qualitative public health research. I was also a PhD student at the University of Washington School of Public Health from 2022 to 2024 where I received doctoral-level training in health services research methods, epidemiology, and quantitative data analysis, prior to transitioning into contracting/consulting work.
I'm always eager to take on new projects where I can make a meaningful impact. While I can offer an hourly rate when needed, I generally use project-based pricing and provide a scope of work once I learn about the project. If you have something in mind for collaboration, I’d love to hear about it!

Additional Notes:
My work as a data analyst and writer provides financial support that sustains and advances my independent research on structural ableism.
I value opportunities to collaborate as a data analyst and writer on projects outside my main research focus even when I do not fully share the underlying assumptions or approach. I find that I often have the most impact on a project (and learn the most) when I'm working with teams whose perspectives differ from my own. Occasionally, I co-author work that does not completely align with my own theoretical or health equity positions. In these cases, I recognize that this work will occur with or without me, and I participate because I believe my involvement can help the team consider new directions and move the project toward greater alignment with equity-focused and critical perspectives.
A few additional comments about my past experience: I have contributed to grant proposals ranging from R03s to R01s to proposals to private foundations. For data analysis work, I primarily code in Stata but am proficient in R. I also have experience with qualitative data analysis using NVivo. For data visualization, I am comfortable with a range of tools including Stata, R and ggplot, Excel, Tableau, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud software.
